1. Patriotism of Charles Gratiot Marker
Inscription. Through the Patriotism of Charles Gratiot in furnishing material aid, Colonel George Rogers Clark was enabled to keep his forces intact and thus to recapture Fort Sackville in 1779.
Erected in grateful memory by the Huguenot Societies of the Old Northwest Territory - Ohio - Indiana - Illinois - Michigan - Wisconsin
 
Erected 1976 by National Huguenot Society.
 
Location. 38° 40.825′ N, 87° 32.011′ W. Marker is in Vincennes, Indiana, in Knox County. Marker is at the intersection of South 1st Street and Patrick Henry Drive, on the right when traveling south on South 1st Street. Touch for map.
