1. Oxford Ohio Underground Railroad
There was a man ( my great grandfather) who was born in Fairfield, Ohio. he moved to oxford where he raised his family. John S. Jones and his father Jack Jones ran the underground railroad. John S. Jones was the head underground railroad conductor. John had a large family; two of his boys fought in the Civil War. Robert J. Jones joined the Massachussetts 54th and John M. Jones the Massachussetss 55th.
