Regarding Union Veteran Legion Sherman Monument. The statue of William T. Sherman was originally located in Baughman Memorial Park in/near Frazeysburg, Muskingum County, Ohio, until it was auctioned with other statues in July 2008. Sherman's head and left hand were removed by vandals in 1968. The monument sold for $2,600 and was moved to its current location sometime after the auction.
