Commanded by Lt. Edward F. Beale 1857-1864
San Antonio, Texas to Fort Tejon, California
 
Erected 1957 by E Clampus Vitus Platrix Chapter.

Doug Baum, Valley Mills Texas, a member, in fact the only member of the Texas Camel Corps reenactors effectively teaching first graders at Texas Independence year 175 observance, Merkle, Texas.
