Riverside in Montgomery County, Ohio — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
13th Bomb Sqdn., 3rd Bomb Gp.
WWII - 7 Dec 1941- 2 Sep 1945
In honor of a very special group of young men who served their country so faithfully while enduring incredible hardships and dangers in New Guinea, the Philippines and Okinawa. Some lived and some died - all of them gave their very best. Their many personal sacrifices helped assure our blessings of peace - the peace to grow and to live in harmony with others and to plan for the future with confidence. They exemplified the very finest in American military tradition - may they be remembered forever.
