1. Confederate Attacks Marker
Inscription. Across the fields behind this marker the Confederate Right Wing made five attacks on Union positions to the left, March 19, 1865. They were thrown back by the XX Federal Corps.
 
Erected 1959 by Archives and Highway Commission. (Marker Number HHH-10.)

3. Confederate Attacks Marker
Confederate troops, having broken the line of XIV Corps, advanced across these fields on March 19, 1865. They were met here by the Union XX Corps who stopped several bloody Confederate assaults.
