On the National Register it is listed as "Wabash & Erie Canal Culvert #100 and has the National Register number 02000194. The above marker reads: "Wabash & Erie Canal Burnetts Creek Arch Culvert #100 Circa 1830 has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places March 10, 2002 by the United States Department of the Interior and the Carroll County Historical Society".

You can hear today the water yet running in Burnett's Creek under Towpath Road. The Wabash & Erie Canal would be about the middle of what we travel on today as the "Towpath Road" (as seen in the photo).
