1. Mahlon Stacy Marker
Inscription. In memory of Mahlon Stacy the first English settler, 1679, who owned the land both sides of the Assunpink Creek at the Falls of Delaware, now Trenton. He erected a grist mill to accommodate the neighborhood; was a member of the Governor’s Council; also of the Legislature; and Justice of the Colonial Courts. A devout member of the Society of Friends: He was interred in their graveyard in what is now Riverview Cemetery 5th day, 2nd month 1704.
