Russell's (1st) Brig., Clark's (1st) Div., Polk's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

This regiment was engaged here at about 10 a.m., April 6, 1862 and was fired into by 33d Tennessee. It was next engaged at northwest corner of Review Field.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 307.)
