1. Brookville Historic District Marker
Inscription. Platted 1808 along Whitewater River, Brookville was an important entry point to interior lands opened to settlement. The district's concentration of well-preserved buildings reflects the city's continued prosperity. Brookville Historic District listed in National Register, 1975.
 
Erected 1992 by Indiana Historical Bureau, and Historic Brookville, Inc. (Marker Number 24.1992.1.)
