Regarding Robert M. Bell Parkway. A native of Graniteville, Mr. Bell graduated from Leavelle McCampbell High School and was a graduate of the University of South Carolina Law School. In addition to being an esteemed attorney in Aiken County since 1976, he worked in a number of areas of community involvement. Mr. Bell served on the S.C. Highway Commission. He was recognized for his years of service by having a portion of S.C. 118 closest to his hometown of Graniteville named the Robert M. Bell Parkway.
Mr. Bell also was a member of the Aiken County Planning Commission, the board of the Aiken County Crippled Children Society and the Gregg/Graniteville Foundation.
