1. Parsons Cemetery Marker

Inscription. The land for the original portion of the cemetery was bequeathed by Benjamin Parsons to Saint Peter's Protestant Episcopal Church. The first plat was recorded in 1873 showing the location of the burial plot of the Parsons Family. Additional lands have been added through the years by the vestry of Salisbury Parish, who are responsible for the perpetual care of the cemetery.

These gates, walls and entrances were erected A.D. 1967, as a gift of ... Alison Jehu Parsons ... to Sain't Peter's Protestant Episcopal Church in loving memory of his parents and ancestors who rest witin these gates.
