1. General Alfred Mouton Marker
Inscription. 1829-1864. Confederate brigadier general from Lafayette who served in Shiloh, Lafourche, Teche, and Red River campaigns. Killed at Mansfield, leading Confederacy to its most important military victory west of the Mississippi.
 
Erected 1982 by Department of Culture Recreation and Tourism.
