This monument is dedicated to the men and women who gave of themselves and far too often their lives to foster and perpetuate the American dream.

To those who conceived our Constitution, those who wrote it, and those who fashioned the quills.

To those who served and those who died in our several wars, to those who fired the cannon, and to the man with the hoe.

To those in the past and those in the future who have and will shoulder the burden of freedom.

God bless them all!
