1. Thiensville Mills Marker
Inscription. Original mill built for John Thien by Henry Hayssen in 1842, and a sawmill in 1843. The grist mill burned in 1874 and was rebuilt in 1876 to 4 stories. It was the largest mill in the area. The present building was built on the 1842 foundation.
