1. Baker Mansion Marker
Inscription. Erected 1844-1847. Architect, Robert Cary Long, Jr. Residence of Elias Baker, Ironmaster, and his family, 1848 to 1914. Museum of the Blair County Historical Society since 1922. Entrance to mansion from street in rear.
 
Erected by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 29.377′ N, 78° 24.467′ W. Marker is in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in Blair County. Marker is at the intersection of Baker Boulevard and Mansion Boulevard, on the right when traveling west on Baker Boulevard. Touch for map.
