1. Nashville Academy of Medicine Marker
Inscription. The Nashville Medical Society, the first medical association in Tennessee, was founded March 5, 1821, by 7 physicians in the log courthouse on the Public Square. Pres. was Dr. Felix Robertson, first white child born in Nashville. Chartered Sept. 4, 1906, by state as Nashville Academy of Medicine & Davidson County Medical Society
 
Erected 1977 by The Historical Commission of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County. (Marker Number 61.)
