Original Presbyterian Meeting House. . This wall is an adaptation of what is believed to be, after through archaeological research sponsored by Historic Savannah Foundation, the original Presbyterian Meeting House, now the Independent Presbyterian Church, housed on the land granted by King George II. These stones have been reassembled in approximation of the original facade of the church constructed in 1759, damaged by the British during the Revolution, and later restored. The stone is believed to have been quarried, cut and carved in England from White English Marble. This wall contains what is thought to be the remains of one of the oldest structures in the state of Georgia. ,
