Inscription. Originally called Everitts Mill, the village once comprised of a mill, post office, schoolhouse, tavern, blacksmiths shop, tailor shop, two storehouses, and approximately 25 dwellings situated on the Nishisakawick Creek. Founded in 1759.

Erected by Hunterdon County Cultural And Heritage Commission.
