Team Blakely could not determine the identity of the individual named on the marker. A number of John and/or Steve Brodies appear in an internet search, but none are particularly related to Duncan, the VFW, veterans, or the military. It would be interesting to see if anyone else around here knows.

3. Memorial Park Veterans' Section
This photo looks north from about the middle of the park. Most of the veterans' memorials are contained in this portion of Memorial Park. The park itself is about 7-8 blocks long along US 81 in the middle of Duncan. It contains all types of memorials and monuments, not just to veterans, but also to historic events and people.
