1. Union Church Marker

Inscription. Built of logs in 1820 by Philipsburg pioneers to serve as school and place of worship for all faiths. Remodeled in 1842, church is outstanding example of simplified American Gothic architecture.

Erected 1967 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
