1. Old Brown Marsh Presbyterian Church Marker

Inscription. Organized prior to 1756 by Scottish settlers. Present building constructed 1818. Third building on site. First two building of logs. Was also used for secular education until 1848. Some early ministers: H. McAden — Jas. Hall — S. Stanford — C. Lindsay.

Entered on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior September 2. 1975
