Inscription. Who served as president of Gould's Pumps from 1907-1964. The original site of Goulds Pumps, founded by his grandfather Seabury S. Gould in 1848, was in Van Cleef Lake below. He was a U.S. Congressman from 1915-1923 and led a life dedicated to community service.
