Regarding Hotel Fauchère. From Hotel Fauchère's Facebook page:

Originally founded in 1852 and run by the Fauchère family for 124 years until closing in 1976. In 2006, after a painstaking restoration, the hotel reopened to international acclaim, offering 16 guest rooms with marble baths, Frette linens and Kiehl's amenities, two restaurants, a patisserie/cafe and an affiliated day spa. The public spaces in the hotel feature a permanent exhibition of Hudson River School paintings."
