1. Granada Avenue Marker
Marker is mounted horizontally in the sidewalk.
Inscription. Its name derives from the Spanish word meaning “pomegranate.” The area between what is now Interstate-10 and Main Avenue once supported irrigated agricultural fields during Arizona’s Territorial period.
 
Erected 2013 by City of Tucson Historic Preservation Office.
