5. 4th New York at the Sunken Road

The 4th New York attacked the Sunken Road as part of French's Divisional assault on the Confederates. The 4th was the left most unit of Weber's Brigade in the first wave. Their position was to the southeast (right) of the Roulette Farm Lane, seen here running beside the stone wall.
