3. Millburn Marker
New Jersey militia and Dragoons of Colonel “Light Horse” Harry Lee, Colonel Matthias Ogden, and Captain George Walker delayed the British right wing at this site during the June 23, 1780 Battle of Springfield.

5. Hessian House
This house, which survived the burning of the town by the retreating British, is located across the street from the American Delaying Action marker. It gets its name from the belief that two Hessian deserters hid there during the Battle of Springfield.
