1. Pierre Pauquette Ferry Marker
Inscription. Landing place of the ferry built by Pierre Pauquette and operated by him from about 1828 until his death in 1836. This ferry was in use until the first bridge was built across the Wisconsin River in 1857.
 
Erected 1928 by Wau-Bun Chapter, D.A.R.
