1. Snow Cruiser Crash Site Marker

Inscription. On October 28, 1939, while being driven to Boston, Admiral Richard Byrd's polar exploration vehicle ran off the Lincoln Highway and crashed into Pike Run, drawing large crowds and putting Gomer in the national spotlight.

Erected 2014 by Ohio Lincoln Highway League and the Gomer Welsh Museum.
