1. Johnson's First Tailor Shop Marker
Inscription. Here the former indentured boy, tailor's apprentice and later 17th President of the United States first set up his own tailoring business in a small brick building which was also the sheriff's office. On the death of his former employer in Greeneville about six months later he moved back to that city.
