1. Bell-Pharis House Marker
Inscription. Built by Daniel Bell in 1858, an impressive ante-bellum mansion, restored by present owner, Donald Pharis, who also re-erected an early day log cabin here from nearby Richmond.
 
Erected 1976 by Clay County Historical Society.

From downtown Liberty, drive 4.5 miles east on H Highway. Turn south on EE and drive .5 miles to the Bell-Pharis farm. The house is 700 feet south of the road. Touch for map.
