1. Iola Kiosk Marker
Inscription.
This 1907 picture of the old Iola Kiosk, located on the southeast corner of the courthouse lawn, displayed weather data for many years and was also used as a town bulletin board. The structure contained about 3,300 pounds of cast iron and about 250 pounds of lead. Ben McConnell is the young man standing next to the kiosk.
