1. Leslie County Marker
Inscription. Created 1878, from Clay, Harlan, and Perry counties. Named for Preston H. Leslie, Governor of Kentucky, 1871-75. Montana Territorial Governor, 1887-89, U.S. District Attorney, 1894-98, appointed by President Cleveland. Died 1907, buried in Montana.
 
Erected 1964 by Kentucky Historical Society and Kentucky Department of Highways. (Marker Number 213.)
