1. Stoker Barn Marker
Inscription. Riley Stoker built this log barn on his family farm near Fort Jesup in Sabine Parish, Louisiana where it was in use for over 150 years. Architecturally it is described as a double pen log structure with an open passage in the center.

This type of barn was commonly found throughout northern Louisiana. Originally hay was stored in one crib and corn in the other. Mules and horses were stabled within the seven stalls.
