Medal of Honor
The Medal of Honor is the highest Military decoration awarded by the United States. It is bestowed on a member of the American Armed Forces, who distinguishes himself or herself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy. The Army, Navy, and Air Force each have a slightly different design for their award, and each presentation is made by the President to the individual or family in case of a posthumous award.
Erected 2012 by the Veterans Council of Northwest Arkansas and Many Concerned Citizens and Organizations.
