Regarding Leandro Valle. Leandro Valle was one of Benito Juárez's youngest and most capable generals during the Reform War. He was captured and shot by a firing squad at Monte de Las Cruces, Distrito Federal on June 23, 1861 by the forces of Conservative General Leonardo Márquez.
