Regarding Martyrs of the National Workers Front. The Frente Nacional de Trabajadores (FNT, National Workers Front) is a union made up primarily of industrial and state workers and small farmers. This monument pays homage to its members that lost their life in the struggle against the dictatorships of the Somozas.

This monument is locally known also as the Monument to the Unknown Soldier (Monumento al Soldado Desconocido).
