Caption: The Laleux's gothic mansion, circa 1968, was located on Lexington, north of Lincoln.

Inscription. Highly regarded French artisan plasterers, Joseph Laleux and Peter Allinio, both lived near here in the early 20th century. Individually, they worked on well-known projects as the Palace of Fine Arts, the Curran and Geary Theaters, and the original fountain at Marine Circle.
