1. The Ravine Bridge Marker
Inscription. Also known as the "Kissing Bridge," this favorite landmark was donated to Douglass College by the Class of 1926. Restored in the 1970's and again in 2001. Its original purpose was the span the ravine dividing the original campus from the land given to the college by James Neilson. It is now one of two bridges over the ravine - a second covered bridge is part of the Arts Complex.
