Inscription. These tablets are dedicated to and bear the names of the servicemen and women from Shippensburg and R.D.'s and nearby villages who served honorably in the American Armed Forces during the Vietnam War:
July 1, 1958 -- May 7, 1975.
This was a long war: history will judge its worthwhile outcome.
