Site of first Lugonia, now Redlands, district school building erected 1877. The name Lugonia was suggested by Charles R. Paine, then County Supt. of Schools. Trustees: C.E. Brink, M.H. Crafts, W.R. Tolles. Teacher: George W. Beattie.
