1. Covington Blue Sox Marker
Inscription. Joined the Federal League in 1913. Home games were played at Federal Park at Second and Scott Streets. Defeated St. Louis in the home opener 4-0 on May 9, 1913. Sam Leever was the team's manager. Covington native Adolph Thoss played right field. Blue Sox second baseman James Emery hit the only home run recorded at the park May 13, 1913. Team relocated to Kansas City in June 1913. Federal Park was torn down in 1919.
