Inscription. Built in 1797 by Nicholas Foster and Christopher Walker. This mill was once the hub of an agricultural community. It is now a private residence within Gunpowder Falls State Park.

This carved stone embedded in the west wall of the old mill, refers to Nicholas Foster and Christopher Walker who built the mill in 1797.
