1. Adena Mound Enon Ohio Marker

Inscription. This Adena Mound is the second largest conical mound in Ohio. These large conical mounds are believed to be Adena while the many small or effigy mounds are Hopewell, a later culture.

This mound is the property of the Village of Enon. Twelve other Ohio mounds are the responsibility of the Ohio Historical Society.
