Additional Description: In memory of Arthur Spiegel, long time director of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven, whose dedicated efforts for the construction of this memorial were inspired by the survivors and all the peoples of this city. Through this monument, he has ensured that the memory of the Holocaust will be in the hearts and minds of all for generations to come.
