Bank of Central | Additional Description: The Bank of Central was chartered in 1904 and J.N. Morgan as its president. The Farmers Bank, located on Gaines Street, opened later with capital stock at $25,000. The town of Central advanced, but not without adversity. These two banks crashed with Wall Street in 1929.
