Perpetuate The Memory Of Men And Women Of Torrington Who Offered Themselves In The World War, 1914-1918, With No Selfish Ends, That The Principles Of Righteousness Might Be Established Throughout The World.
Men Of Torrington Fought On Battle Fields Of Europe Including The Following: Defensive Sector, Champagne. Aisne, Marne, Meuse, St. Mihiel, Argonne.
In A Righteous Cause They Have Won Immortal Glory
And Have Nobly Served Their Nation In Serving Mankind.
