Caption: Flank Trail Near the Marker
Additional Description: The road has been widened since the war to accommodate two way motor vehicle traffic, but the passage is still somewhat cramped. Thus it is not hard to imagine the congestion of marching troops and the difficulty with passing around through the wooded areas beside the road.
