Additional Description: View looking north of the historical marker at it's location across the street (US 20) from the McPherson Cemetery. Just beyond the old gate to the McPherson Cemetery, on the top of a small hill in the front of the cemetery, is a view of the statue of General McPherson that marks his gravesite.
