Historic Trail Markers Sign | Additional Description:
[map]
Originally this marker was erected in Dr. Bean's yard at the spot where two Indian trails crossed. Dr. Bean's house stood on the higher ground a very short distance west of this site. The house was demolished in 1992.
Grateful appreciation is given to Dr. C.V. Porter whose hard work and dedication preserved this segment of history for all.
